Former Jump Trading senior quantitative researcher Yiming Zhang has received startup funding support from hedge fund giant Millennium Management after leaving the firm and will conduct business as an external manager in the future.

Yiming Zhang worked at Jump for 17 years and was one of the key members of the core strategy department. Due to non-compete clauses, his new role is expected to officially start after the restriction period ends.
